Christ’s attitude
“Complete my joy, feeling the same, having the same love, unanimous, feeling the same thing. Do nothing out of strife or vainglory; rather with humility, each one estimating the others as superior to himself; not looking each one for his own, but each one also for what belongs to the others. Let there therefore be in you this mind that was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider equality with God to be something to cling to, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, made in the likeness of men; and being in the condition of a man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to the point of death, and death on a cross. Therefore God also highly exalted him and gave him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth. Earth; and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but much more now in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling, because God is the one who produces in you both to want and to do, for his good will. Do everything without grumbling and strife, so that you may be blameless and simple, children of God without blemish in the midst of an evil and perverse generation, in the midst of which you shine as lights in the world; clinging to the word of life, so that on the day of Christ I can boast that I have not run in vain, nor have I labored in vain.” (Philippians 2:2,16)
When we have a humble heart, we reflect the heart of God.
